青少年的職業規劃 
梁婉珊職業治療師

離開學校進入社會, 由一個學生的身份轉變成一個工作者的角色, 是每位青少年必經的階段。為自己的未來作好準備, 就由他們的職業規劃開始。

認識自我
青少年在尋找或選擇工作前, 應要自我分析,清楚了解自己的興趣、 志願、 優點、 缺點、 個人性格、 工作能力及發展方向, 然後認識勞動市場對求職者的要求, 從而進一步訂定個人就業目標。

務實的工作心態
無可否認每個人都想找一份人工高、 福利好、 工作時間穩定而又舒服的工作, 但這想法未免太過理想化, 而且對於剛踏入社會而又毫無工作經驗的青少年來說, 這想法就更加不切實際了。

青少年可於報章、 勞工處或透過親戚、朋友等介紹尋找工作, 他們應抱着務實的心態, 不要介意職位的高低, 不可急工近利, 為了賺快錢而做一些不合法的工作。 只要那份工作能與你們的興趣及能力相配合、 有學習和進升機會、能賺取日常生活所需、 合法及安全便可。

不斷學習,鍛鍊自己
青少年除學習工作上的知識和技能外, 最重要就是鍛鍊自己解決問題,適應和處理工作壓力的能力,學習如何與人交流,溝通及合作的技巧, 亦不容忽視。

了解工作的需要
在挑選職業時, 青少年需了解清楚所選擇工作的要求, 性質, 範圍, 環境, 福利, 薪金, 晉升機會及前景等, 認識求職途徑及程序, 避免跌入求職陷阱。

最後, 希望每位青少年能清楚認識自我, 抱着務實、不斷學習的心態, 尋找到理想的工作。

潘恩賜職業治療師


不論老幼,我們都有我們的「職業」,小朋友的職業是「學生/學習者」、老人家是「退休人士」‥‥‥所以,只要因為病患而影響了生活規律,男女老幼都可以接受職業治療的訓練,以減少病患對他們造成的影響。職業治療師為他們建立復康計劃,著眼訓練病人平衡工作/學習、自理和餘暇三方面的生活需要,為有需要的青少年引入輔助器具及設計重回生活的家居及工作/學習的環境。

青少年階段,正直生理、心理成長的衝擊,從而尋找自己在社會上的生活意義,建立自我形象去面對成年期生活上的種種挑戰。對青少年病者,職業治療師的關注範圍與其他年齡層的範圍相若﹕自我照顧、學習與工作及運用餘暇方面。但會因應青少年個人成長的步伐及病患影響的程度設計個人化的治療目標,讓他們慢慢建立獨立生活的信心。

青少年科的職業治療訓練內容包括﹕

一、 促進身心功能的訓練:如小肌肉訓練、書寫訓練、執行功能訓練、情緒管理訓練、社交技巧訓練;

二、 促進自我照顧能力的訓練;

三、 職業性向的評估及輔導;

四、 職業復康及輔助就業;

五、 生活重整課程;

六、 家居 / 學校探訪,作出改善建議;及

七、 重投社區訓練(肢體障礙)

在一般公營醫療服務中,都會設有職業治療服務。此外,部份各志願機構、特殊學校、職業訓練中心及私營機構,亦會有職業治療服務。另一方面,鑒於職業治療與生活息息相關的理念,時至今日,職業治療師更會踏出醫院,以職業治療重燃生活動力的角度,協助有需要的人士。在世界各地,職業治療師更會駐校工作,協助老師識別及提供臨床治療予有學習障礙的學童。

從「職業」引發生活意義 ,無論處身哪一個環境,職業治療師總希望人們無論疾病、健康,殘障,都能有一個充滿生活動力的人生!

The 2015 International Symposium “Old Diseases, New Strategies” – Advanced Medical Technologies in Pediatric Dermatology will be held on 28 February 2015 - 1 March 2015 in the United Christian Hospital.


Renowned international speakers in the field will share their expertise in the symposium. Of special interest is the afternoon session on day 2 of the symposium with Dr Thomas Schopf from Norway sharing his experience in the use of social media in the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases in youth.

November 12 (Wed): Special Seminar offered by Dr. Tomas J Silber

Weight loss, anorexia nervosa, morbidity  and mortality: A case based presentation


Members of HKSAH, health practitioners and other youth workers are invited to join a special seminar on weight loss, anorexia nervosa, morbidity and motality.

In this seminar, Dr Silber will be presenting REAL CASES of patients sent to him with a diagnosis of an eating disorder WHO DID NOT HAVE AN EATING DISORDER… except some did. We will form 2 teams from the audience present and spend a couple of hours in a wild competition searching for answers and clinical pearls. This will be both fun and
educational.
